Dissociative anesthetic

Formula: Ketamine (as hydrochloride) 10%.

Indications: Dissociative anesthetic, indicated for induction and maintenance of anesthesia.

Dosage and administration route: Cattle: Intravenous route: 5 mg/kg (2.5 ml every 50 kg bw). Intramuscular route: 15 mg/kg (7.5 ml every 50 kg bw). Swine: 5 mg/kg (2.5 ml every 50 kg bw). Intramuscular route: 15 to 20 mg/kg (7.5 to 10 ml every 50 kg bw). Sheep: 3 mg/kg (1.5 ml every 50 kg bw). Intramuscular route: 10 to 20 mg/kg (5 to 10 ml every 50 kg bw). Horses: 3 to 5 mg/kg (1.5 to 2.5 ml every 50 kg bw). Intramuscular route: 15 mg/kg (7.5 ml every 50 kg bw).

Presentation: 50 ml vial.
