Dissociative anesthetic

Formula: Ketamine (as hydrochloride) 5%.

Indications: Anesthesia induction and maintenance.

Dosage: Sheep: Intravenous: 3 mg/kg. Intramuscular: 10 to 20 mg/kg. Swine: Intravenous: 5 mg/kg. Intramuscular: 15 to 20 mg/kg. Cattle: Intravenous: 5 mg/kg. Intramuscular: 15 mg/kg. Horses: Intravenous: 3 to 5 mg/kg. Intramuscular: 15 mg/kg. South american camelids: Intravenous: 3.5 mg/kg. Intramuscular: 10 mg/kg. Interval between doses: It will depend on the acting veterinarian criterion. Treatment duration: Single dose.

Administration: Intravenous, intramuscular or subcutaneous.

Warnings: Apnea can be noticed according to the dose and administration speed. It is recommended to ventilate the animal.

Presentation: 50 ml vial.
