Treatment of urinary incontinence

Formula: Each tablet contains: Estriol 1 mg.

Indications: For treatment and prevention of urinary incontinence in dogs due to lack of hormones.

Dosage: Start by administering 1 tablet daily (1 mg of estriol) for 7 days. In case the initial treatment is effective, reduce the dose to a minimum of half tablet daily (0.5 mg estriol) for one week and evaluate the clinical response. In case the initial treatment is not effective, increase the dose to a maximum of 2 tablets daily (2 mg estriol) for 7 days and evaluate the clinical response. In both cases, the effective dose for the patient should be as low as possible. The minimum dose should not be less than 0.5 mg of estriol per day. Treatment duration: A minimum of 15 days is suggested.

Administration: Oral.
