Hormonal

Formula: Oxytocin 1,000 IU, Excipients q.s 100 ml.

Indications: It induces myometrium contractility. It is indicated in case of uterine inertia, endometritis, pyometra, retained placenta. Adyuvant in uterine involution and bleeding after delivery. It induces the contraction of myoepithelial cells in mammary glands. It is indicated in cases of agalactia caused by stress, mastitis or other reasons.

Dosage: Dogs (female): It induces uterine motility: 0.2 to 1 ml per animal (2 to 10 IU of Oxytocin). For agalactia: 0.2 to 1 ml per animal (2 to 10 IU of Oxytocin). Cats (female): It induces uterine motility: 0.1 to 0.5 ml per animal (1 to 5 IU of Oxytocin). For agalactia: 0.1 to 1 ml per animal (1 to 10 IU of Oxytocin). Treatment duration: Single dose. It can be repeated after 30 minutes.

Administration: Intramuscular.
